Getting to know students names and peculiarities.
Stimulate students’ skill to talk, to read and to work in pairs asking
  and answering questions. |
Teacher introduces himself by saying his name, age, likes and dislikes
and asks students to do the same. And then, in Portuguese, the teacher asks
what are some questions that we usually make when we meet a new person trying
to contextualize it by giving real examples. The teacher hands out to
students a paper with as many questions and answers as possible in English and
writes on the board when necessary and for exercise he asks students to work
in pairs using the given questions with their personal answers and then the
teacher asks them to say five peculiarities about their classmate. |
